The Woman in Red

The documentary film "The Woman in Red" (working title) tells the story of two Iranian women who both fought in their own way for something that was, in the end, only to be found in exile. In Iran, "the woman in red" is a symbol for an unconventional female lifestyle as well as for romantic love; the film reveals how deeply the different biographies of the protagonists are interwoven with the eventful history of Iran.
